The  Wendt & Kuhn (Kühn) Company have been hand crafting fine wooden figurines for nearly 100 years. The company is located in " Grünhainichen / Erzgebirge " a small mountain village in the Saxony State of Germany.  Wendt & Kuhn (Kühn) is a family owned business. Founded by Margarete "Grete" Wendt in 1913. The company engaged a very special team of trained artists that expertly carve and paint figurines. It is Wendt & Kuhn's dedication to carve everything by hand using only the best indigenous wood. Each artist undergoes 2 years of training before obtaining the skill to paint these treasures

The classic production line is the Angel Orchestra, with 66 Angel Musicians. The original "Grünhainichen Angels" have 11 dots on their green wings. Figurines with less ore more dots are not Originals from the Wendt & Kuhn (Kühn) Company.  Their colorful charm and smiling faces are irresistible to anybody who likes figurines.

These German Christmas gifts, holiday gifts are gemstones of handcrafted folkart from Germany. Many folk art lovers have have long awaited the addition of these figures to their collections.
