Quadrilla is the next generation of marble runs. It is a system of blocks, tracks and accessory pieces that allow the energy of a marble to travel in a make-your-own path. Beautiful wood tracks and a rainbow of colored blocks, each with a different function, are the starting point for endless contraptions for marbles to drop to a new level, go right or left, swirl in a funnel, or pour out of a teeter totter.The marbles get their acceleration and speed exclusively from their way through the holes in the blocks. The top of each block and each rail has a hole while the bottom sides have rings to fit in the holes. All the pieces are plugged together ca. 8 mm, that's the reason the building is stable to build up. Quadrilla is a favorite for even the youngest children. Tracks sit level and speed results from the use of different connecting blocks, accelerators & action pieces. All simply combined for fast moving effects. Part of the fun of playing with Quadrilla marble runs is the fact that you can see the marbles on their paths all the time. It's a special fun if you let a lot of marbles run through your Quadrilla marble run at the same time. Simple 2 or 3 level switches or complex multi-level, multi-direction layouts are possible depending on the builder's understanding of the function of each piece. Quadrilla stands for intelligent playing in wood. All the Quadrilla main-sets and all the additional pieces you can combine together. The material for all the rails is birch-plywood, the blocks are made from rubberwood. All the items are tested by EN 71 and ASTM-standard. |
